Terms of Use

Welcome to InternConnect — a private social platform created and maintained by RixxCity Studios, under the leadership of Coach & Developer Ellington “RIXX” Bass Sr., for student interns participating in the Step-Up Omaha! program.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using InternConnect, you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations in the state of Nebraska and the United States. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use InternConnect.

2. Eligibility

This platform is exclusively for students aged 14 to 18 years old who are active participants in the Step-Up Omaha! program or other affiliated Step-Up chapters worldwide. Anyone outside this group is not permitted to create or maintain an account.

3. Account Registration

   
• Users must provide accurate and truthful information during registration.

   
• Parents or guardians may request access to view their child's account activity at any time by contacting support.

   
• Multiple accounts are not allowed per user unless explicitly authorized.

 

4. Community Guidelines

All users agree to maintain respectful, inclusive, and appropriate communication on the platform. This includes, but is not limited to:

   
• No bullying, hate speech, or harassment of any kind

   
• No inappropriate or explicit content

   
• No sharing of personal contact information or external links unless permitted by administrators

   
• No impersonation of other users, staff, or public figures

 

5. Privacy & Security

InternConnect is committed to protecting user data and respecting the privacy of all members. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for detailed information about how we collect, store, and use personal information. InternConnect does not sell, rent, or trade user data. We use encrypted technology to help protect all communications and data within the platform.

6. Parental Rights & Access

We take parental involvement seriously. Guardians may:

   
• Request a summary of their child’s activity

   
• Report concerns or inappropriate behavior directly to moderators

   
• Request temporary or permanent account deactivation for their child

 

7. Platform Moderation

All content posted to InternConnect is monitored by appointed Step-Up Omaha! staff and platform moderators. Any content violating our terms may be removed, and users may face suspension or permanent bans depending on the severity.

8. Intellectual Property

All software, branding, and platform content is the property of RixxCity Studios. Users may not duplicate, reverse-engineer, or distribute any part of the site without written permission.

9. Modifications to the Terms

We may revise these Terms of Use at any time. You will be notified of any significant changes via your account dashboard or by email. Continued use of the platform means you accept the updated terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to InternConnect at any time if we believe you are violating any part of these Terms of Use or endangering the integrity or safety of the platform or its users.

11. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be handled in the state or federal courts located within Douglas County, Nebraska.
